Leather is amongst the latest fashion obsessions. However, if you live in India, you might hardly see anyone sporting leather pants thanks to the scorching heat and the extended summers (except of of course celebrities, they wear anything, weather permitting or not!). One of the other reasons could be out curves. (Most) Indians are blessed with curves and hence if not worn correctly leather would make us look like meat pieces stuffed in pants. No, this post is not about how curvy people can't wear leather, instead I would like to share with you some interesting ways of wearing leather:
• So what if we cannot flaunt our legs in leather pants/ leggings? opt for a rich brown or black coloured pencil skirt. What better way to wear leather?
• Another way you can stun yourself and of course others by wearing a black leather peplum top with a pleated skirt. A new and interesting way of mixing edgy and girly.
• Leather jackets have been always around in India also, so no need to elaborate on that, but experimenting with colours is a refreshing change.
• Lastly, accessories! Indian summers can discourage us and not allow us to wear leather in above mentioned ways but accessories is our answer. Leather wrapped bracelets, belts, clutches, handbags, collar/bib necklaces and on and on and on.
How do you plan to incorporate leather
in to your fall attire?
